Karen Lower
Originally from Toronto, Canada, I moved to New York City in 1983 to study piano at The Juilliard School. Earning both a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Music, I taught and played professionally for ten years before moving to Los Angeles. While studying in Europe I spent as many hours at the keyboard as I did wandering through the streets of Vienna and Paris where I discovered an intense passion for architecture. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Los Angeles was a city where I would rediscover this passion.
I began my career in real estate as an investor and to date have purchased a total of seven properties; two were rebuilt from the ground up, the others restored. I recently completed a fourteen month renovation of my home; a two-story 1937 Spanish on Balmer Drive in Silver Lake.
I enjoy a strong client referral business built on my hard work; it is a testament from satisfied past clients. It is very important to me that I build long lasting relationships. Many past clients are now personal friends and I am continually honored to be a part of their investment endeavors, and a guest in their homes.
In an effort to provide the best possible experience and results for our clients, Marc and I recognized the benefit of a partnership in a profession that often requires a 24/7 commitment. We have successfully closed out the last 3 years as the #1 Team in our office; a testament to our rapidly growing referral business from satisfied Buyers and Sellers.
Marc Giroux
I grew up in Maine and graduated from Clark University in Worcester, MA . After purchasing and renovating my first home at the age of 21, I discovered my passion for real estate and began my career in Boston, MA developing a broad range of real estate expertise working with clients ranging from 1st time buyers to established developers. For eight years in the 90's, I owned and operated a 10 agent boutique office located in Boston's South End.
Captivated by the diversity and richness of the architecture and real estate in Southern California, I relocated to Los Angeles in 2000. I now specialize in the neighborhoods of Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz and Silver Lake, and currently reside in the Moreno Highlands section of Silver Lake.
Having personally bought and sold over 10 properties, I understand how emotional and at times challenging the process can be. My goal is always to meet all of my clients needs in a timely and empathetic manner.
Actively selling for over 20 years, I have had the opportunity to weather several of the cycles common to the real estate market and have gained invaluable knowledge on how to best handle varying market conditions.
